At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008, visitors will be able to meet with representatives of over a dozen Italian construction equipment manufacturers and trade organizations at the Italian Trade Commission pavilion. Highlights include hands-on demonstrations and both formal and informal discussions.

Italian producers are leading manufacturers and exporters of construction equipment serving markets in over 140 countries. COMAMOTER (the Italian Earthmoving Machinery Manufacturers Association) estimates that, for the year 2006, 667,000 tons of equipment and components will be manufactured in Italy, with 96% going to the export market. This amounts to a $5 billion dollar business driven by world-class companies. Italian equipment is known for innovation, precision engineering, and endurance under rigorous work conditions.
